My theory is that the loot boxes were originally supposed to be paid for with real money or extensive grinding for in-game credits but the Battlefront 2 backlash was so fierce and fast that they changed it last minute to only in-game credits.

While I do support having to work for your stuff, it doesn’t change the fact that there are loot boxes in wrestling games.

At least Dragon Age: Inquisition was fair with its free-to-play prices for its loot boxes. When you could open a Superb Requisition every 4-6 runs on Routine, it works. :3 Loot boxes may be greed but sometimes the game’s fair enough without the “ gimme money gimme money gimme money” Peter Griffin-playing-violin-in-fancy-restaurant meme being more prophetic tham humorous.
