Ok. I will accept that, hate forgotten.
Their eyes work like normal eyes, they’re just cartoonishly stylized to look fused together. I don’t see why that’s a big deal considering MLP:FiM Ponies have cartoonish proportions, and resemble real horses as much as Sonic does a real hedgehog.
I assume they use Rouge, and other characters less nowadays to address critics/retro fans that criticise, or bash the series for having more then 3 characters.
My hate won’t decrease a bit until Sega explains to me how hedgehog eyes work. (and why there’s less Rouge the bat nowadays, she is my back up Rarity)
Indeed, though, I hear Mario’s 2D/sidescrolling games are more popular in Japan. Not to mention “Sonic Adventure” had praise at first when it came out on Dreamcast. (Though, some sources state the Dreamcast “International” version is better then the DX rerelease versions. The DX version was based on earlier versions of the game, so it’s a bit more glitchy, despite it’s new features.)
I don’t get the hate over Ken Pontac and Warren Graff, as they seem to of done alot of research on the series, and have some clever humor. Though, some fans hate anything that’s not like their Sonic fanfics.
It’s funny, people complained the series was getting to dark/edgy, now they think it’s too silly/humorous. Why can’t the series have both dark, and lighter moments like it always had?
Edited
Hopefully, although Sonic Forces made some drama because it’s a 3D platformer or it’s written by Ken Pontac and Warren Graff.
How ironic that Mario and Zelda got praise for their 3D games and yet Sonic gets scorn for going 3D.
Edited
Actually, judging by recent image scores, the Sonic hate has died down a bit.
Maybe “Sonic Mania” shut some people up.
