I’m not sure precisely what you mean, so I’ll give this advice:  
When you go to the ‘Leave a Comment’ / ‘Preview’ tab, there is a square box with ‘…’ underneath on the right.  
It gives more info for how to link to any sort of onsite image, and also some offsite. If you mean something like a youtube video link directly embedded, I’m not sure you can.  
Here’s an example with the OP though:  
‘>>’ + ‘1631200’ + ‘t’  
if you type those 3 parts together you get this:

You’ve summed up a large part of why I like FIM’s Equestrian society.  
These ponies are simply not comfortable with the suffering of another of their kind,  
even if they’ve been such an incredibly bad pony that they ‘deserve’ it, by most human cultural standards.  
I like to think the world would be a better place if there was more forgiveness and rehabilitation,  
and less vengefulness and imprisonment.

Their civilization runs on good emotions and friendship magic–literally. Therefore it is always in the best interest of Equestria, to choose the option that generates friendship and “feel good” feelings.
 
Locking up Starlight in prison has far less benefit than making her an ally and and asset. Sure, you might get some semblance of satisfaction in knowing that some arbitrary sense of “justice” has been served by locking her up, but clearly their decision to forgive was the smarter one both in terms of security and the longevity of their civilization.
