Understandable. Whatever discrimination bronies might face pales in comparison to actual racism. Of course modern racism pales in comparison to old school racism, both pale in comparison to things like genocide. As a Jew I should know. The truth is we all encounter evils in our lives. Some people have it worse then others, but that doesn’t mean we have to accept minor evils. All bigotry, all xenophobia ultimately stems from the same source. We have to stamp it out wherever it arises, if left alone it might grow into something worse. Today’s anti-brony commentor might be tomorrow’s fire and brimstone preacher, warning you of the dangers of homosexuality.

As someone who had to deal with racism AND logical fallacies, seeing someone make an appeal to worse problems really pisses me off.

Racism is definitely a much bigger issue but maybe you can relate to people who are misunderstood and picked on for something they truly enjoy.
