Oh, I know there was a fanfic about it. It was quite sweet, but knowing what would eventually become of Luna… yeah, maybe it’s for the better that they’re just sisters in the show. :P
Is Celestia Luna’s birth mother? Absolutely. There was a bit of a scandal way back then, but the information just naturally became lost after 1000+ years; especially after Luna was sent to the moon and was out of the public eye for dozens of generations.
