Unfortunately, I wasn’t paying as much attention to these things back when the Thorax quest was around. I finished the quest but made no effort for the limited time rewards.
Ember is expensive. Thorax was easy to obtain. The helper required to get him required 20 gems. Just 10 points away. I hope we dont need Button Mas or Tempest, both needed expensive helpers.

310 damage over 36 hours, with Metamorphosed Thorax (+5) and Princess Ember (+20) as possible helpers.
Do you know the requirements for the final stage?
Then what was the point of me using my gems to skip if the game was just gonna have me wait?
Edit: It seems they make everyone who’s gotten “ahead” to wait as though for everyone else to catch up since the “next” part of the storyline starts on the 18th.
