Description
Once upon a time, I didn’t support ships, of any kind, between any character, least of all OC ships and waifu garbage. Long story short, friends on Facebook thought my pony avatar/OC ought to be shipped with Pinkamena. I didn’t want any part of it.
Then I did a smart and realized, hey, if other people ship it, who am I to say no? I did my best to try and explain how this would not be your typical “I wuv you more; no I wuv you more!” lovey-dovey puke sort of relationship.
The only way to explain how awfully bad said relationship would be was with this comic. For whatever reason, enough people enjoyed it, so I did one more and another to check again for good measure.

This is that old pilot comic to the series started on Facebook. Even if you hate shipping, I hope you are amused and laugh, laugh at me or otherwise. |
it’s too late to run
Oh yeah. that feeling, I know It very well.
I have some works that I didn’t put much effort, or they just look badly made and go above the 30 likes or more.
And then there’s the good ones where they don’t even get to 30, much less 20.
It’s a tough balancing act, and sometimes you just never know how people are going to react.
I completely understand. It happens all over for all sorts of things. I see it in artwork too. Sometimes I’ll spend long hours coming up with a digital painting that’s some of my best work and for whatever reason it won’t show up on Equestria Daily, yet there’s stuff on there that looks little more that a colored scribble sketch.
Audience demographics, which can include Internet locations, can also be a big deal. Certain things get really popular on Facebook but gets not a peep in Derpibooru or Deviant Art; sometimes something goes over too well on DA but is kinda “meh” on Facebook and completely ignored in Derpibooru… sometimes it’s sickeningly popular on Derpibooru and not as many really care anywhere else.
In rare occasions, it’ll hit that sweet spot where you know you’ve captured the broader audience, and no amount of data analyzing helps figuring out the science behind it.

I ship, everybody loses their minds and call me edgy.
I hate this community sometimes.
Nothing personal against you, I just needed to vent out after seeing this.
