Just going through the archives and had a thought. I seem to recall reading that certain animals (including Earth equines) sometimes have increased flatulence when stressed or anxious. So it stands to reason that if Spike got Twilight on some sort of anxiety reduction regimen (pills, teas, etc.) Then her flatulence would also lessen.
