– Added 23 more characters, bringing the total to 60.
– Reordered characters to match the MLP Wikia’s character list.

I would imagine if someone was epileptic, they would hide seizure inducing tags like that from the start. But I do agree with you that it should receive a special thumbnail warning for new visitors. It’s not like such a system is not already in place.
