It’s Earth in the distant future and manual input is needed from the Princesses to ensure:
 
  1. The Earth doesn’t crash into the sun (possibly a red giant by now, or they just had to move it away so its increased luminosity doesn’t boil off the oceans)  
  2. The Moon and Earth do not become tidally locked

The various things on this board suggest something involving magnetic fields, the Schrödinger equation, crystallography, the aurora borealis, and possibly an eclipse.
 
I’m guessing Twily is planning to use the very heavens to create one Hell of a lightshow for her “Friendship Festival.”

I didn’t recognize the aurora borealis, though that definitely explains the magnetic field I noticed to the left of it (hence the tag; thank you Physics class!).
