Yea but Sweetie is a she devil
He means at the Gala.
And subduing rambunctous animals with something psychologically threatening does smack of being mean.
The Cocatrice is a different story though.

… wut?
Element of kindness
See what I did?
The thing with Fluttershy and kindness isnt whether or not she shows it, it’s simply that being ‘kind’ is relatively insignificant compared to making others happy, being honest, loyal or giving things away.
And also a lot of the ponies don’t really show their elements in a significant way.
Applejack isn’t particularly honest, Dash isn’t particularly loyal, Fluttershy’s kindness doenst extend beyond being nice to animals and acting nice around friends.
Rarity does show her element rather a lot I’ve noticed but at the same time her generosity is challenged a lot more.
Pinkie does show her Element well with those parties and rarely makes others feel bad.
And Twilight…well honestly being magical is nothing but a net positive.
Kindness is about being nice, and when she’s not being a brute, Fluttershy has a lot of that. She’s polite and caring, that she wants to spend time with her animals instead of her friends from time to time doesn’t mean she doesn’t appreciate them.
Cries when everypony wont go to Gummy’s afterparty.
Ha ha!
Actually i’m not talking about her rage side, well not yet, even while she’s being shy she fails several times to show, well, kindness.
Being the carrier of the element of kindness should mean being the best friend in the world, being always there for a friend, making him smile and helping him to overcome difficult moments..and the only pony i see matching this is Pinkie, not Fluttershy.
Fluttershy only cares about little animals for like 90% of her screentime in the show, 8% for Dash and 2% for the CMC.
If there’s one element Fluttershy should have, this one would be courage.
Sure, she was…a little bit more frank, but she was being honest. She has troubles babysitting her own sister,I couldn’t imagine if she babysits the Baby Cakes…
Also, liberty of choice, what is that?
Well when she does get mad, she gets real mad.
Honestly, it’s better for everyone if she stays normal and out of town in her little cottage where she can’t hurt anyone, ever.
@64
True that, and it’s all proposital, but Fluttershy takes it to a point that i cannot stand at it.
Being kind doesn’t mean never saying ‘no’.
Being honest doesn’t mean never saving face or letting people realize their own weakness.
Being loyal doesn’t mean to stick with your friends rigidly, regardless of the situation.
Having a humorous personality doesn’t mean you’re constantly perky and bright.
Being a unifier doesn’t mean it’s your responsibility to constantly monitor your friends.
Characters that express only one character trait are boring.
Yeah, they don’t personify their elements perfectly. AJ can lie, but she’s not very good at it.
At least she realizes she’s terrible with kids.
The pony of kindness.
Ha.
