I think she only affected Iron Will and Zephyr Breeze and that’s about it.

It’s funny how the world changes to fit the plot of an episode. Everyone become jerks right before Iron Will came around.
 
And in the episode with the return of Flim and Flam everyone suddenly had broken appendages and injuries. Which, BTW, renders the whole episode’s conflict redundant. The guy pretending to be on crutches instantly got better. Granny Smith’s issue was simply mental. People with actual injuries would have messed themselves up further long before Applejack had to lie. But we don’t hear anything about those people. I guess because they’re now all in comas or something.

Honestly, one of my favourite things about this look into Flutters’s influence was when Silver portrayed Angel is a positive (if justifiability harsh) light, and pointed out that he was too cruel in Hoof Down, which is what you can say about everyone other than episode that wasn’t Pinkie or Rarity.

She got over her fear when her friends were in danger, and it was her comforting him after she beat him down that counts. With Will, that I’ll agree is a gray for the most part, though her being the first woman to explain to him “no means no” has unfortunate implications.

I still don’t see it. He says Fluttershy’s archetype is someone that helps males and leads them to becoming better. Neither the dragon or Iron Will are better people after interaction with Fluttershy, if anything it’s the other way around. Fluttershy gets over her own fear of dragons and learns to be more assertive from Iron Will, who she then refuses to pay even though he help her.

Go watch the vid before try to argue that Flutters didn’t help anyone but Discord or Zephyr.

I think it was that she comforted the dragon after beating it down, and she was the first person to tell Iron Will that no means no. Let the indications sink in.

Having not seen it, I can only guess Iron Will was taught to be less mean while assertive(obligatory scoff), but there’s no way she helped the dragon.

Some of the comparisons in the video seem really forced and just don’t make sense to me. Mainly because I can’t see how Fluttershy helped the dragon in Dragon Shy or Iron Will.

That was a nice look at Flutters.
