Well, Racket Rhine in concept started off as a Male first off, and he is adopted by a rather large Earth Pony Family that ran a large merchant business essentially, They treated him as family despite him being the only bat in the family, around the age of adulthood he decided that he didn’t want to become a burden on his family and set out to make his own business “Rhine and Co.” it started out as a wagon with some goods that he’d adventure and find to sell and stuff.
 
Racket was made first in a tabletop game of mine, and later on i made Dusk for a mage village they were visiting and i liked his design so much i showed him early to my Boyfriend who said “He kind of looks like Racket.” so i made him also be adopted (Cause the character was gonna be anyway.) but the mage elder confirmed of their bloodline connection, So he happily took Dusk onto the party for his little adventure (lots of shit happened with Dusk in that campaign i probably won’t get into that atm.)
 
But Essentially Racket is a happy go lucky guy that lives in the moment, his special talent is keeping weapons in top condition (hence the Sword Sheath and his love of weapons and such.)

Racket Rhine isn’t exactly my Character, She is my Boyfriend’s Character. I can tell you what i know of her essentially.

It all depends really, I honestly though want to get more character driven artwork to show off my character’s personalities and fun interactions, but of course general perversion and money always tend to win first :P

I’m the complete opposite. My characters usually end up being forged on the RP forums on this site. Sometimes they stick and get used enough to have character development, other times I use them once and thats it.

Cool! Is there any history of Racket Rhine? I’d like to get to know her.

She’s certainly lots of fun, I make my characters with fears, hopes, goals and quirks. In a way exploring a character is like exploring a piece of yourself and i really focus on Character Design and Personality, Platinum actually started out as inspiration from my own mother, but she quickly grew into her own character.
 
Since i run so many tabletop games, i often take pride in making up characters on the spot.

She seems pretty interesting, certainly a well thought out character.

She fears essentially the Unknown/Occult, because it’s not something she can predict or understand rationally, Not to mention she isn’t really a skilled magic user (Although in some settings she is but at the cost of her skills with a weapon.) She also fears becoming like her mother, Royal Decree. Basically her mom is essentially a trophy wife who looks good, cooks and doesn’t really speak up or care for other affairs other than family, For she loathes to becoming something like that and she does everything in her power to stay away from that, She also fears being blackmailed or pushed in a corner where she might do something irrational or essentially betrayed by someone. She plays a lot of politics behind the scenes so she might be slightly paranoid and always wondering if someone is going to turn their back on her.

It’s her home and the best place to accomplish her dreams, Not to mention the family estate is there and her father’s work which is both she’ll inherit. She even feels prideful about her home of Canterlot, just not exactly the other nobility or the wealthy, She can have respect for some cause not all are dreadful or anything but she feels like a fish out of water sometimes.
