The fact that there was no OC tag on the above image was what tipped me off that something strange was going on.

There are a lot of great background ponies in the show that you might not recognize immediately. By that logic, you would believe they are OCs when you see them here, which would be a shame, because many of them have potential.  
You should pay more attention to the tags. If a pony is an OC, there are fitting OC tags attached to it.

Browsing here since the end of season 6 and ignoring tweets because I don’t use twitter.
 
Remember, OC’s are made by the hundreds, even nowadays, so when I see a pony I don’t recognize, I brush it off as an OC. The only reason I knew anything of a movie was due to the above pic and that it wasn’t downvoted to hell, but also that it was here at all.
 
So yeah, a G4 MLP movie that isn’t Equestria girls is new to me and what I’m seeing doesn’t fill me with much hope, particularly the “high brow cast” of literal nobodies who are being treated as if they should be household names.
 
Oh, and the inclusion of some pop singer no one knows about and those that do don’t like her.
 
At least the songs will be written well but that’s about all this movie seems to have going for it.

Wait, something to do with an upcoming movie? Interesting. I wonder how they would introduce the race of cat people or if it will be only one or two actual characters.
