Description
So romhacking is fun. Only worked 6 hours getting all the sprite to work/finding all of Link’s sprites. I decided not to make link into Quarter Hearts (the Link pony in the show) as 3 colors wouldn’t be enough. (That’s a BS excuse, I know, but I had already made this little guy and I liked him.) Dunno if I’m going to ponify the other humanoid characters and enemies in the game, this one sprite was enough work for one day! Ah well, I might work on it some more and release it or something, I guess. What would be neat is if the finished product would work in Randomizer. That would be FUN!
Also, I’m not sure if the artist tag is applied here or not. I mean, I did the replacement sprite for Link, but other than that, nothing else at all.

Yeah, plus Apple Fritter is light green. It still looks like an Apple family pony.
Come to think of it, he really does look like her. Huh.
But no, it’s not Apple Fritter. Just a generic OC, at least for now.
You’d be surprised what you can show with three colors.
As Marvelous said, it does “replace” his hat, as well as his tunic. I didn’t want to make his coat green, as doing so would cause his whole body to change color when obtaining of the ring items, so I went with his mane and irises instead.
Because NES sprites have all of three colors to work with.
But why replace the hat?
