I’m just saying that the way they tried to emulate the design in the show style doesn’t work. Yeah everything else in the show looks the same artwise but I don’t see how they would’ve conveyed the newlings right in flash.

Yes but bugs that look similar can convey luminosity and the light can actually affect texture in their designs. These look…. artificial by comparison.

Aye. I still have trouble with their marks too. Still worlds better than these mouldy Changedlings.
Check out the green june beetle. Gold and metallic green, with varying shades depending on how their shell is seen in the light.
