Dash talks honestly, if not bluntly.  
Applejack talks loyally.
 
On the other hand…
 
Dash does not live honestly. She’s a maverick who lives in the moment and balances out her rogueish attitude with extremely driven heart-on-her-chest loyalty.  
Applejack does not live loyally. She a simple-living paragon who lives in the day-by-day and her moral strength is that she’s trustworthy beyond reproach.
