Good point. Though if having Nightmare Star be a separate character was the intent, then maybe aliasing “Solar Flare” to it wasn’t the best idea…

now when this version of her came out, everyone started tagging any and all evil Celestia images as nightmare star, so while there’s a bit of clutter, they are two different characters.
more importantly, there’s already some art featuring both as separate characters

I guess there’s really no need for a retag though; the older pics are still perfectly easy to find under the fandom’s original name for “evil celestia”.
