Description

This was one of my favorite scenes in the episode, because not only was Shining Armor an intolerant jerk, he was COMPLETELY JUSTIFIED for being that way. This is where the story gets deep.

Notoriously Divine Tagger - Consistently uploads images above and beyond the minimum tag requirements. And/or additionally, bringing over the original description from the source if the image has one. Does NOT apply to the uploader adding several to a dozen tags after originally uploading with minimum to bare tagging.

Shining probably knew Spike was serious. He basically told him “Don’t even think about giving that changeling a chance. We’re not playing games here, kid. You’re lucky they thought you were kidding.”

I wouldn’t go so far as to Shining was an intolerant jerk, and honestly I could’ve done without the “There’s no such thing as a nice changeling” line, that was thankfully the only really racist remark he said all episode, but would it have been so hard to cut that line out and just have him be serious about doing his job?

If we all remember how Shining Armor reacted to Twilight because he was fully manipulated by Chrysalis at the end of A Canterlot Wedding Part 1, then I can understand why Shiny would be furiously distrusting of Changelings.
