Description
On this day, we gather at dawn’s first light
having braved the whole of cold, dark night.
For today is the day without end,
the reign of the sun, our warm, bright friend.
And henceforth, the day shall wane with grace,
in favor of night’s gentle, luminous face.
Bit of a rush order to get this one out in time for the solstice, but it was a lot of fun to do (mostly). As is the tradition, I was up all night, drawing in fact, and am still rather tired, so I shall keep this short. I hope you all have a splendid day.
