One comment on his design: he’s clearly more chubby than the typical stallion model (eg like Doctor Whooves) - he’s got a double chin and his torso is a bit thicker, but they’re not using either the Big Mac version or the Coleander Cumin “fat” model.

It… That does look odd for somepony who dislikes Daring Do. It’d probably make more sense to have him related to her, but it’d also not be too bad to have him upset simply because she and he share similar mane and coat colours, not blood, and he’s always being confused with Daring Do or a Daring Do fan in cosplay, and it finally gets so on his tits, he kicks Rainbow right in the tuchus around the five minute mark. XD

While that might not be the direction the episode goes in, that does sound like it would be a great idea for a fanfiction or an AU. That Daring Do/AK Yearling has a brother that doesn’t know about her double life.
 
I can also imagine her family would want her to quit adventuring or retire. For her own safety of course.

The idea is that he’s ostensibly a “fan” who claims to love Daring Do more than anyone else but all he actually does is complain about how much he hates everything about it. The type of grump you can find in every fandom.
