Interdimensional Dating Program part 2. Human Cadance got Equestrian Shining Armor, so it only makes sense that Human Shining Armor would get Equestrian Princess Cadance. Now you might think he’s taking the whole “pregnant with a clutch of ‘pony’ eggs thing” like a little too much of a trooper, but keep in mind he’s long since had time to get accustomed to Equestrian oddness. Like how she looks nothing like her photo (“Equestrian cameras are horrid” she said), or how Equestrian “princesses”, ahem, have a full package (“You mean human princesses don’t” she asked), or how he was the one to get pregnant (“Are you really still asking questions after everything that’s happened?” she asked), or how on Earth does “Cadance” shorten to “Chryssi” (“It’s a cultural thing” she said).

Don’t get me wrong, Cadance, being the Princess of Love, is probably quite a good lover too.

Indeed. The eggs change his body enough to make his belly stretchy enough to hold them without discomfort or damage, and technically I think this makes him a king now. “Prince” at least since she’s pretending to be a princess. And let’s not forget all the fun of getting them in there to begin with!

Well… The eggs themselves may hatch before they come out, so there’s the possibility of pooping out cute little baby changelings instead of eggs, but in a practical sense nope. What goes in must come out.
Now she might have to magic out a baby changeling queen because just one of those is going to stretch his belly bigger than that and he’d not be able to get it out naturally…

Well… he’s snuggling in bed with Queen Chrysalis’s sexy unchanged form, and only at the cost of carrying her babies for her (which could easily be a privilege, not a cost, depending on where you’re coming from). It might not be that he fell for her ruse, but rather “fell” for her ruse. As much as I love Cadance, if given the choice between her and a genuinely loving ovipositor-having changeling queen, I’d take the queen without hesitation :D
