I don’t know what you’re implying. I’ve always drawn her when I felt like it and had an idea I liked, same for other characters. I have been drawing quite a few female dragons non-stop, so I don’t know why you’re singling this one character out. In Jade’s case I always have people asking me to draw her more. Speaking of which, I still have a birthday request to finish featuring Spike and Jade.
 
As for this picture, it’s a Valentine’s Day special. Naturally I’d post that around Valentine’s Day. If I posted that the same day the Ember news came out, that’s purely coincidental. It was actually another guy from MLPG who suggested I should make Jade the subject of the picture when I was asking for ideas.

Depends on how combat focused they are and who had the most training. Ember did not become dragon lord because of her strength. This was a point that the episode went out of its way to make.  
In a fight between adult Ember and adult Jade, Ember would probably win because Jade isn’t that good a fighter either and won’t have the same amount of experience dealing with other dragons.

I love it. I really do hope to see Spike’s parents, or something relevant. Like to see more of Fluttershy’s and Rainbow’s family too. I do believe we will at least see Flutter’s brother in S6 at the very least.

I called the theory of the parents because I thought: why dragons (and one of them is a female), would enjoy hearth’s warming eve in ponyville otherwise?

One dragon looked female and there were dragons with the main cast singing tje heart’s warming eve song.  
I’m probably wrong,but I’ll try to call it: maybe Spike’s mom and dad that are gonna be finally introduced, and some episodes later they’ll return to join hearth’s warming eve with their son?  
Or maybe they’ll be introduced in the hearth’s warming eve episode itself and in the end they’ll sing with the main cast.
