your current filter.I would assume the later actually, since she would be changing back to normal when she is turning human rather than transforming into something new.
Considering what happened the last few times she shifted, my guess is that they become part of her pony form. That way, they won’t get in the way while she’s transformed, but will come back when she shifts back. The real question is what happens to clothes she wears in pony form upon turning back into a human - do they merge into her human form as well, or does she end up wearing two sets of clothes? (I suspect the former, but the latter is more amusing to think about.)
