SOL is a bit extreme, but yeah, you’re generally right, @TexasUberAlles. Finding any specific bootleg toy is either a
matter of pure luck or very tedious search throughout local dollar stores/flea markets/etc. or eBay/Aliexpress/etc.
Rule of thumb is, if you see one you’re interested in, grab it, cause it probably won’t be there next week.
You’re probably SOL on this particular set since fakies tend to be made in one huge batch and then the ripoff production line moves on to something else, but trademark infringement toys in general are quite common at dollar stores, flea markets, tiendas/bodegas, and the kind of local fairs and festivals that have lots of small food and tchotchke booths.
Concerned Pony is probably the best thing to come out of Bootleg toys.
You’re a riot, Rainbow Dash.
Anyone who references, ‘Father Ted’, around me gets called a hero. You are a hero, my friend.
for me i’m like
“someone actually saw this and thought this was good enough to be packaging art? nice!”
if you’re an artist and you saw your art on a KO packaging, would you buy one for posterity?
I would body slam a five year old to get that package away from them if it was the last one in the store.
No.
interesting question:
if you’re an artist and you saw your art on a KO packaging, would you buy one for posterity?
@Athaniar
This Engrish alone convinced me to upvote. XD
trump was wrong
obama was mobian(?)
Oh god, I forgot that!
You say that as if bootlegs had been on a level that wasn’t already rock bottom.
