Oh, but I imagined that if there was any hallucinations about the cube it would be purely auditory not visual. Seemed that someone would have to be crazy in the first place to have that happen to them.

It’s a hallucination, how a test object sees the WCC, not how it actually looks.  
Also, apparently Chell wasn’t affected by it, seeing how she got rid of the cube faster than other test subjects.

It was a cube in the game, why make it an actual living thing here?  
I mean, I’d feel nothing for an inanimate cube, but this is an actual pony we’re talking about here, a living thing.
