no, its just that they need to chill a bit and stop crying about how characters and their roles are not what they wanted it to be. Just let the show go on and start forgiving cus as of now, the whole episode with time travel and equestrian being thrown into turmoil are over, starlight is given a chance at redemption, and now no else has to continue complaining about a rushed episode finale, but u and I both know some wont be grateful for what the show is trying to represent, and that’s friendship buddy. Forgive and Forget.

I know that we have to wait for answers, I’m just saying many are h8ting on starlight without looking further into why she did what she did. For some reason don’t ask me why, I just feel she grew up an orphan and not only kept bottling up her feelings, but she could’ve came across bad influences as well. keep that in mind. Yes we still don’t know what happened to her yet, but I’m still calling it, that she not only shut herself from making friends again, she also could’ve come across or overheard bad influences that can really screw with someones way of thinking.

Remember. That was just ONE scene she showed that started her madness. The rest of her life is left unknown until it’s revealed in the show. Getting that upset as a child is one thing, growing up as an adult and refusing to let go of those feelings can really hinder and break a person. But again, we just don’t know what happened to her growing up. Her reasons weren’t given enough time to really look up because 10 minutes of episode. The ending was simply rushed. Until Season 6 happens (and if Starlight appears again at all), we have no idea how she’’ll turn out in redemption or how she ended up like this.

man u guys, seriously? the hate for starlight is real… shouldn’t u guys oh idk, like re-think why starlight did what she did? she was a kid, she couldn’t grasp the situation she was in as her friend left her, let alone not even try to write to her. don’t u all think she could’ve been an orphan with no parents maybe? not once did the show or her mention parents raising her so… I leave my two cents here even though some of you haters wouldn’t bother to reason with anyways.

As such, it’s idiotic to blame Sunburst for anything. Maybe for abandoning her, but not the consequences that are are entirely the fault of Starlight and her madness.

Sunburst shouldn’t get hate at all as a character. For that to happen he should you know be an actual character. As far as I’m concerned he’s a crappy plot device.

He just did the same thing Twilight did to Moondancer, yet Twilight doesn’t get as much criticism because Moondancer shut herself away from ponies instead of turning into a psychotic town cultist.
