Wish I could remember the blog that had it; it WAS a pony-blog (as in, not anthro or humanized), but I really can’t remember it.
Sucks; there was also a blog with an image of a pony giving a cute stare at a padlock, causing it to open for her inexplicably.

To be fair, we haven’t exactly gone into the history of the Pies until now either. A giant family heirloom that sits on a farm miles away from Ponyville is easier to accept coming out of nowhere than Twilight having a sibling she’s never mentioned. We’ve only really seen the Pie family history as it directly related to Pinkie (her cutie mark story, her relationship to Maud, etc.)
At least Maud got a couple of foreshadows before she actually appeared.
