I kind of meant besides just Spike, but that works, too.
Well Price never really got the proportion of Spike right, but that’s more his skill/style than anything.
Hm.
Any other differences Price made?

It was one of the design choices that Price made early on for him, and most of the other comic artists fell in line. But it isn’t consistent.
Huh, well I guess Comic Spike is slightly different in design. :P
But pink/flesh tones look different enough from grape purple to where you don’t have to worry about contrast.
Also, his tongue and inside of his mouth in the show:

I guess it comes into contrast with his eyes and…“spikes”?
I still don’t see why they have his mouth green. Just looks weird to me.
Actually, some reptiles have green mouths. :P
